Learnt something new today I thought I would share for those D800 photographers who just bought Photowizard Flex TT5.

I had an issue when I tried to use my D800e in the studio for the first time with my Pocketwizard Flex TT5 transceivers. I would press the shutter and there would be a delay of about 1 seciond before the camera fired. Not a good thing to happen. Solution is as follows:

Change your flash mode on the camera to front curtain sync! (little lightning symbol near front remote cable port next to lens release button + turn command wheel to select flash mode). Suddenly the camera fires as it should and Hypersync is back with sync speeds up to 1/8000 of a sec.

I would recommend that Pocketwizard places this in their FAQ for those who aren't aware of this.
